Filmmaking projects
Unlocking creativity, starting conversations
We work with schools, children and young people to make memorable and award-winning! The films explore issues that are important to them.
Short films.
Big voices.
We work with schools, children and young people to make memorable, and award-winning! The films explore issues that are important to them.
We love making short films and we’ve won national awards! Some of our most memorable were created in partnership with children and young people. We create focus groups of young people from primary school age upwards, encouraging them to discuss issues that matter to them, decide the questions they want to ask, who they want to film, and where.
Students are supported by our professional filmmakers and are involved throughout the editing process, right up to the launch of the finished film. Our projects enable young people to be heard, and enable those who are filming to truly listen.

Our films
win awards!
We won our category in the 2023 National Charity Film Awards with our film Will’s Story.
Sponsored by the Smiley Movement, the Charity Film Awards are the world’s biggest showcase for cause-based films. We were finalists in 2024 with our animated film JIGSAW, made and voiced by young people, and again in 2025, with another film: Why Boys in Mind Matters.

How we make films
From classroom conversation to finished film
Focus groups
Young people gather to discuss issues that matter to them, giving every voice equal weight before a single frame is shot.
Decide & Plan
Our workshops encourage students and teachers to start healthy conversations and discuss their feelings in a safe, supported environment, building skills that last.
Film Together
Often, we can’t or don’t need to provide advice or solutions but just need to listen, the camera is a great way of observing and recording without interfering.
Edit & Launch
Young people are involved throughout editing, all the way to the finished film premiere.
